Adverb of
time คือกริยาวิเศษณ์ที่ใช้ขยายกริยาเพื่อแสดงเวลา
แบ่งออกเป็น 3 ประเภทคือ
1.ประเภทที่เป็นคำเดียว
ไม่มีคำอื่นมาร่วมด้วย
2.ประเภทที่มีคำอื่นมาประกอบด้วย
3.ประเภทที่เป็นประโยคเพื่อมาขยายกริยาแสดงเวลา
คำสันธานที่ใช้เชื่อมอนุประโยคเพื่อบอกเวลา
ได้แก่
When,
before, after, since, as soon as, till, until, whenever, เช่น
-She will go
when her father arrives.
-While I was
walking along the street, I saw a filmstar yesterday.
-Before I go
to bed, I must read a book.
He called me
after he had finished his homework.
Since he
arrived in Bangkok, she hasn’t called me yet.
Suda will
leave home as soon as you arrive.
Everybody
laughed as I was teaching.
Don’t go
anywhere till (untill) she comes back.
I am happy
whenever you come to see me.
